About CareerCousin
At Career Cousin, we are dedicated to empowering college students and emerging professionals with the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their careers.
Our platform offers a comprehensive blend of professional coaching, workplace wisdom, and engaging resources designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world success.

Our Story
Career Cousin was birthed from a recognition of the mentorship and development needs of young professionals, which became evidently clear while our founder, Briana Clarke, was teaching college courses and hiring emerging professionals over the course of a decade. Witnessing firsthand the challenges that students and early-career individuals faced when transitioning from academia to the workforce, Briana realized that there was a significant gap in the support system available to them. This gap often left them feeling unprepared and isolated as they embarked on their professional journeys.
We set out to create a platform + community that would serve as a bridge between academic learning and career success and focus on the holistic development of emerging pros that help them “show up well” in any space. Thus, Career Cousin was born—an initiative dedicated to providing young professionals with the tools, confidence, and personal insights they need to navigate the complexities of the modern workplace successfully.
The name "Career Cousin" was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the heart and mission of our platform. Just like a trusted family member, we aim to be relational and serve as a guiding force for young professionals. A big cousin is someone you look up to, who offers honest advice, encouragement, and unwavering support, and that's exactly the role we strive to play.
